RN Med Surgical
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Harvey, Illinois
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45–19:15
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Ratios: 1:6
- First-timers accepted
- Locals accepted
- Floating required
- Every other weekend required
- RTO limit: 7 days max
- Charting: Epic
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current resume covering the last 7 years of employment
- 2 references
- Skills checklist for the unit and any units floated to
- Employment verification covering 7 years of employment
- Drivers license or state ID
- Photo for badge
- Physical exam within 1 year, updated annually
- Fit mask within 1 year of start
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 2 business days of signing contract
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 2 business days of signing contract
- Rubeola immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
- Mumps immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
- Rubella immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
- Hepatitis B immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
- Varicella immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
- Drug test within 30 days of start
