Description

Transplant RN

Role Overview

  • Travel/contract RN role in an outpatient transplant clinic.
  • Schedule: 5x8 days, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
  • No call and no weekend requirement; holiday coverage as needed.
  • Float scope: to other transplant unit(s).

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Virginia.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • 2 years of transplant experience.
  • Transplant experience within the last year.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients.
  • One completed travel assignment.
  • Driver's License.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

  • None stated.

Unit / Clinical Setting

  • Outpatient clinic specializing in pediatric pre/post liver and small bowel transplant, hepatology.
  • RN supports patient care coordination, including labs, imaging, phone triage, and communication with the multidisciplinary team.

Additional Notes

  • Local rate applies within 60 miles of the facility.
  • Flu vaccine required for all employees.
  • May come into contact with COVID patients.
