Description
PACU/Pre Op/ Phase 2 RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Saint Paul, Minnesota
- Day shifts: 3x12 hours, with start times at 5:30, 8:00, or 9:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-timers accepted: No
- Weekend work: as needed
- On-call: none
- Locals accepted: No, within 100 miles not accepted
- Pending license accepted: Yes
- RTO restriction: ideally no more than 5 days
- Block scheduling: would consider
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (3 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience with Epic
- Must be able to work in PACU, Pre Op, and Phase 2
- Must be able to float between the main hospital and the Day Surgery Center Perianesthesia departments
- Minnesota license verification required
- Background check required within 1 year of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 1 year of start
- HHS/OIG required within 1 year of start
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Competency Exam
- Skills Checklist 1, annually
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Tdap
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
- Rubeola
