Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Surgical Services
  • Location: Rochester, New York
  • Shift: Evening, 5x8 hours, 15:00–23:00
  • Hours per week: 40
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Scubs provided

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 3 years of experience
  • Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • Must be more than 75 miles from the facility
  • Does not accept first-time travelers
  • Call required: 6 shifts for each 8-week block, including weekends and holidays
  • Experience in the general operating room (OR)
  • Experience with robotic surgery
  • Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
  • Experience with cardiovascular (CV) surgery
  • Experience with aortic aneurysm repair and endovascular aneurysm repair
  • Experience with carotid endarterectomy and carotid angioplasty
  • Experience with femoral popliteal bypass graft
  • Experience with gastric bypass and gastric sleeve procedures
  • Experience with laparoscopic assisted cases
  • Experience with orthospine surgery
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred

  • 3+ years of experience preferred
  • Epic preferred
