CVOR RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30–19:00
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Scrubbing is not required; this is a circulating position
- Charge pay is offered
- First timers are accepted if they have Level I Trauma experience
- Local candidates are accepted
- Pending license is accepted if IN, compact, or IN temp license is in hand prior to start
- Floating is required to other OR specialties
- Call is required: approximately 100 hours per 6 weeks, including 1 call weekend per 6 weeks
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Rooms: 24
- Short-Term Acute Care facility
- Average daily census: 70–80
- Charting system: Cerner
- Parking is free
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- CVOR (2 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience working with Transplant patients
- Experience with heart and lung transplants
- Experience with aortic dissections
- Experience with ECMO
