Registered Nurse - Surgery (Travel)

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Clinical - Nursing - Travel
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role primarily involves delivering care to an adult patient population. The position follows the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

Required Skills & Experience

Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of patient populations specific to the surgical inpatient setting.
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired through completion of an accredited School of Nursing program.

Education Requirements

Required: Associate’s degree in nursing
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Certifications & Licensure

Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) participating state.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or an AHA-approved equivalent.
