Cardiac Cath Lab RN - Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Job Summary
- Perform assessments according to unit standards and document appropriately.
- Initiate, utilize, and document protocols and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed or per standard protocols, documenting accordingly.
- Perform competently in emergency situations.
- Assist with various procedures, treatments, surgical techniques, or delegate to other healthcare team members as appropriate.
- Assume professional responsibility for nursing structure and clinical standards of care.
- Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years current experience in the related specialty.
- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- EPIC experience preferred but not required; training available on-site.
Education Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) OR
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
Required Certifications & Licensure
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
- ACLS (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
- PALS (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
