Job Summary

• Perform assessments according to unit standards and document appropriately.
• Initiate, utilize, and document protocols and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed or per standard protocols, documenting accordingly.
• Perform competently in emergency situations.
• Assist with various procedures, treatments, surgical techniques, or delegate to other healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Assume professional responsibility for nursing structure and clinical standards of care.
• Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years current experience in the related specialty.
• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• EPIC experience preferred but not required; training available on-site.

Education Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) OR
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)

Required Certifications & Licensure

• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
• BLS (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
• ACLS (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
• PALS (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
