Job Summary

• Operate computed tomography (CT) and related equipment under the direction of a radiologist.
• Perform CT studies following specific guidelines and prescribed protocols, using appropriate radiation protection measures.
• Review images and archive them with associated patient data.
• Collaborate with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients, and visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of one year full-time equivalent clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Previous CT experience preferred.

Education Requirements

• Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program (post high school) is required.
• 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology required.
• Current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer required.
• Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent required within 3 months of hire.
