Description
Occupational Therapist Opportunity
Location: Clovis, New Mexico
Specialty: Occupational Therapist
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 12 weeks (81 days ≈ 12 weeks)
Job Summary
- Plan and implement individualized treatment programs based on Occupational Therapy principles.
- Evaluate and treat patients using a variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of function, occupation, and developmental disorders.
- Oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs addressing physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental well-being.
- Promote patient and caregiver self-determination by optimizing use of external resources to maximize independence.
- Coordinate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams involved in patient care.
- Work toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and throughout care.
- Treat primarily outpatient population, with some acute care inpatient responsibilities.
- Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of one previous 13-week travel assignment.
- At least 2 years of current experience in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in Home Health Care (HHC), Outpatient (OP), and Acute care settings.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records (training available on-site).
