Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Location: Clovis, New Mexico

Job Summary

• Plan and implement individualized treatment programs based on Occupational Therapy principles.
• Evaluate and treat patients using a variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of function, occupation, and developmental disorders.
• Oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs addressing physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental well-being.
• Promote patient and caregiver self-determination by optimizing use of external resources to maximize independence.
• Coordinate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams involved in patient care.
• Work toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and throughout care.
• Treat primarily outpatient population, with some acute care inpatient responsibilities.
• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of one previous 13-week travel assignment.
• At least 2 years of current experience in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience in Home Health Care (HHC), Outpatient (OP), and Acute care settings.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records (training available on-site).
