Job Opportunity: RN - Transplant ICU
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing - Travel)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care primarily to an adult population. The position follows the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Required Skills & Experience
- Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of transplant ICU patients or similar critical care populations.
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired through completion of an accredited nursing program.
Education Requirements
- Required: Associate’s degree in nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Certifications & Licensure
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) participating state.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
- AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or equivalent.
Years of Experience
