Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pulmonary/Internal Medicine
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing - Travel)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role primarily involves providing care to an adult patient population. The position follows the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Required Qualifications
Education
- Associate’s degree in nursing (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
Licensure & Certifications
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) participating state
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent
Experience
- Clinical competence and experience in care and management of pulmonary/internal medicine patient populations
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice consistent with completion of accredited nursing education
