Description
Job Opportunity: RN - Vascular Access
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing - Travel)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Summary
The Vascular Access Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating vascular access nursing care to patients according to the hospital's nursing professional practice model.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of recent direct patient care as a registered nurse in a medical/surgical or critical care clinical setting.
- Prior travel experience: Not specified / not required.
Education
- Required: Associate’s degree in nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Certifications & Licensure
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent
This position is suitable for experienced RNs with a background in medical/surgical or critical care nursing interested in a travel assignment focused on vascular access.
