Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - 24/7 AD/DIP

Location: Rochester, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical-Nursing-Travel)
Contract Length: 16 weeks

Position Overview

• Accountable for coordination of nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
• Supports professional nursing practice across various settings and the continuum of care.
• Functions within a professional nursing practice model, responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provides leadership through roles such as preceptor, informal leadership, and quality improvement efforts.
• Delegates patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and resource adequacy.
• Requires excellent communication skills, mentoring and teaching abilities.
• May participate in committees or projects.

Education & Certification Requirements

• Graduate or student of an accredited baccalaureate, associate, or diploma nursing program recognized by ACEN or CCNE.
• If graduated from a non-accredited program, at least 1 year of RN experience in an applicable care setting within the last 5 years is required.
• If graduation occurred more than 2 years ago, 1 year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is required.
• Current RN license valid in the applicable state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• For Midwest locations: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required, must not expire within 3 months after start date.
• Additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an applicable care setting (based on education and recency of graduation).

Prior Travel Experience
