Description

Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Summit, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel - Clinical Allied Health

Job Description

Provide direct patient care with emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices
Support requests for durable medical equipment (DME) such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers
Assist in training patients on the use of inhalers
Set up patients with DME equipment
Collaborate closely with physicians

Contract Length

8 weeks

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 1 year hospital or physician office experience in respiratory therapy

Education

Graduation from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Certifications & Licensure

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NRBC
New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
