Job Opportunity: CT X-Ray Tech

Location: Ruidoso, New Mexico
Employment Type: Clinical - Allied

Job Summary

• Perform diagnostic medical radiographic examinations including Computed Tomography (CT) and diagnostic radiography (X-ray).
• Participate with radiologic teams as needed or work independently in a critical access rural regional hospital setting.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures.
• Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of current experience as a CT X-Ray Tech.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Certifications & Licensure

• New Mexico MIRTP Radiologic Technologist License with CT designation required.
• Primary ARRT certification required.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Current BLS certification required (must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross).

Additional Information

• Dosimeter badge supply and monitoring for radiation exposure is mandatory. Agencies must provide and manage dose badges (OSL or TLD), replaced and evaluated quarterly to ensure safety compliance. Failure to provide dose badges may result in contract termination.
• Epic experience preferred but not required.
