Job Opportunity: Multi Modality Imaging Technologist

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Clinical - Allied - Local

Job Summary

• Perform imaging procedures and operate imaging equipment under the direction of a radiologist or other providers.
• Conduct diagnostic studies following specific guidelines and protocols with appropriate radiation protection.
• Provide positive and effective communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as needed.
• Currently work in 2 or more of the following modalities and meet advanced certification requirements:

  • Bone Densitometry
  • CT
  • Diagnostic X-ray
  • Mammography
• Other duties as assigned.

Contract Length

• 7 weeks

Required Experience

• Preferred: At least 1 year of current clinical experience in each modality worked.

Education Requirements

• Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program (post high school).
• Preferred: Additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field.

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer.
• Must obtain ARRT registration in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent.
