Job Opportunity: Nursing Informatics Specialist - Rauland Project

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Remote - IT
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Play a key role in the interdisciplinary care team's adoption of the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Utilize knowledge of clinical workflows and technology's role in those workflows.
• Apply change management principles to facilitate adoption of new clinical workflows due to technology updates.
• Coordinate or provide expertise in planning, design, development, training, implementation, communication, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical and business information systems.
• Integrate nursing/clinical science, computer science, and informational science to manage and communicate clinical data and knowledge.
• Act as a liaison among stakeholders to ensure engagement and validate workflows and requirements for process, policy, and information system changes.
• Ensure data and information comply with regulatory agency and best practice standards.
• Coordinate collection and reporting of metrics related to clinical information systems benefits.
• Serve as an internal consultant to departments to identify and achieve project goals.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Nursing Informatics experience (preferred; 2 years clinical nursing or clinical informatics experience required, but 3 years preferred).
• At least 2 years of nursing clinical experience OR 2 years of clinical informatics experience.
• Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement strategies for high-impact changes.
• Experience in operational workflow development and translation across departments and facilities.
• Experience setting up test environments and refining processes with stakeholder input.
• Experience in knowledge transfer and coaching internal team members for sustainability.
• Strategic guidance experience on governance models and change management during implementations.
• Expertise in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for high-level interactions.
• Ability to manage and coordinate implementation, design, and maintenance of clinical information systems to improve clinical operations.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin OR multi-state Nursing License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rauland systems or Rauland implementation with Epic.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred over Associate's degree).

Education

• Required: Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Licensure

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License OR multi-state Nursing License from a Nurse Licensure Compact participating state.
