Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of oncology experience, including experience within the last year
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
• Experience with chemotherapy infusions

Key Responsibilities

• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
• Coordinate with nursing leadership to ensure appropriate utilization of supplies and sufficient inventory for patient care
• Escalate material or staffing resource deficits to appropriate nursing management
• Demonstrate patient-focused and cost-effective approaches to patient care regarding equipment, staff, and supplies
• Accurately document patient care in compliance with hospital, regulatory, and legal standards
• Facilitate patient throughput during shifts

• Advance clinical nursing competence from novice to expert level
