Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department/Trauma is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of primarily adult patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires clinical competence in the care and management of patients specific to the ED/Trauma setting.

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Licensure

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin

Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by the American Heart Association

Experience

Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
Experience in Trauma care
Experience working with adult patients
Experience in an inpatient setting
