Job Opportunity: RN Perioperative Circulator Adult Surgery

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Description

The Perioperative Circulator RN plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures. This role requires clinical knowledge, judgment, and reasoning skills to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients during the perioperative period.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the operating room.
• Continuously evaluate and document all aspects of patient care in the perioperative environment using the nursing process.
• Individualize patient care based on health status, age, and type of surgery or procedure.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver specialized care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Minimum of 1 year of OR Circulate experience, including experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Excellent understanding of AORN Standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or higher) from a board-approved program.
• CNOR certification.

• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Excellent understanding of AORN Standards.
• Strong organizational, planning, coordination, and evaluation skills.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic computer skills.
