Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Clinic

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Ambulatory Clinics works collaboratively as part of an interprofessional team to provide therapeutic, patient- and family-centered care. Responsibilities include:

• Collecting and assessing patient health data to develop, execute, and evaluate care plans
• Using evidence-based practice to guide clinical decisions for individual and population health
• Establishing goals and strategies for care coordination across settings with patients, families, and care providers
• Considering safety, effectiveness, and fiscal accountability in care planning and delivery
• Delegating and supervising care in accordance with Wisconsin Nurse Practice regulations
• Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Taking responsibility for professional development
• Performing patient care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and assisting with minor in-clinic procedures
• Floating to other areas as needed for operational support

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an ambulatory clinic setting within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience
