Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Emergency Department

Location: Edison, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Summary

Provide specialized nursing care in a Pediatric Emergency Department (ED) setting.
Manage a variety of emergency and trauma situations involving pediatric patients.
Quickly and accurately assess patients with physical and mental health conditions.
Prioritize injuries and medical needs effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
Pediatric ER nursing experience within the last year
Emergency Department (ED) experience within the past six months
Experience working with pediatric patients
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
