Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Clinic
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Job Summary
As a Staff RN in Ambulatory Clinics, you will work collaboratively as part of an interprofessional team to provide therapeutic, patient- and family-centered care. Responsibilities include:
- Collecting and assessing patient health data to develop, execute, and evaluate care plans
- Using evidence-based practice to guide clinical decisions for individual and population health
- Coordinating care across settings with patients, families, and other care providers
- Considering safety, effectiveness, and fiscal accountability in care delivery
- Delegating and supervising care in accordance with Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and professional development
- Providing direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and assisting with minor in-clinic procedures
- Floating to other areas as needed for operational support
Contract Length
Approximately 14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
- At least 1 year of ambulatory care experience within the last year
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
