Job Opportunity: Radiographer II

Location

  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Employment Type

  • Clinical Technician

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Overnight shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Workdays: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, plus every other Thursday
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Approximately 36 hours per week
  • One call shift per month
  • Opportunity for 12 hours of overtime every other week

Job Description

  • Perform advanced-level radiographic imaging and fluoroscopy examinations under general supervision
  • Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for various diagnostic procedures including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography
  • Assist physicians with specialized imaging procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or film output issues
  • Serve as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and students
  • May participate in training programs to develop skills in CT, MRI, or Special Procedures imaging
  • Maintain records, inventory, and equipment in the assigned area
  • Circulate to other diagnostic radiology areas such as surgery, trauma, and pediatrics as assigned

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience as a Radiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist, with experience within the last year

Certifications & Licensure

  • Current ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI credentials in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty required by the hiring department
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
