Description

Registered Nurse (RN) 24/7 AD/DIP

Location

  • Rochester, Minnesota

Employment Type

  • Travel Nursing (Clinical Nursing Travel)

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • 36 hours per week
  • 12-hour shifts: either 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Job Overview

  • Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
  • Support professional nursing practice across various settings and the continuum of care
  • Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care for assigned patients
  • Provide leadership through preceptor roles, informal leadership, and quality improvement efforts
  • Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and resource availability
  • Participate in committees or projects as needed
  • Utilize excellent communication, mentoring, and teaching skills

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Minnesota
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year
  • Admission experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers, valid and not expiring within 3 months of start date
