Description
RN - Vascular Access
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks (94 days ≈ 13 weeks)
Shift: Mostly days and PMs, 0.75 – 30 hours per week, work week Friday through Thursday, no call
Job Summary
The Vascular Access Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating vascular access nursing care to patients according to the nursing professional practice model.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of vascular access experience within the last year
- Competency in ultrasound-guided peripheral IV (USG-PIV) placement
- Strong interpersonal skills to empathetically manage complex situations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Critical thinking skills to apply vascular access knowledge in various clinical diagnoses and scenarios
