Description
Speech-Language Pathologist, Pediatrics
Location
- Urbana, Illinois
Schedule
- Day shift
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- 26-week contract
Job Summary
- Evaluates and treats patients of all ages
- Assesses speech, language, feeding, and swallowing impairments
- Develops and implements treatment plans with measurable goals
- Collaborates with patients, families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals
- Provides patient and caregiver education on home programs and activities
- Coordinates with pediatric PT/OT on treatment interventions
- Completes daily documentation and charging in therapy EMR
- Supports clinical ladder expectations, including student supervision, an approved project, and one in-service training
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Illinois
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Master's degree in a related field
