Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist - Pediatrics

Position Details
- Employment Type: Clinical Allied Health

- Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
Job Summary
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages with speech and feeding-related impairments.
- Conduct assessments and administer standardized testing to determine level of function compared to age-related norms.
- Collect and integrate case history information from patients, families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and activities.
- Collaborate with pediatric physical and occupational therapists on treatment interventions.
- Complete daily documentation and billing in therapy electronic medical records.
- Fulfill annual clinical ladder requirements for senior status, including student supervision, project completion, and in-service training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist license in Illinois
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist experience within the last year
- Master’s Degree in a related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
