Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) - Florida

Job Summary

• Accountable for coordination of nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
• Functions within a nursing care model involving planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provides leadership through preceptor roles, informal leadership, and quality improvement efforts.
• Delegates patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and resource adequacy.
• Participates in committees or projects as needed.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• On-call required

Required Qualifications

Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
• Experience in General Surgery, Urology, and Gynecology, including OB/GYN
• Demonstrated experience in Urology and Gynecology nursing
