Description

Registered Nurse - MICU

Location: Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 3rd shift (7 PM - 7 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week (night shift), every other weekend and holiday; open to working every weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

Provide nursing care for primarily adult patients in an inpatient critical care environment.
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
Role aligns with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year.

Licensure & Certifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Additional Information

Clinical competence in care and management of critical care patient populations is essential.
Position requires working night shifts with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

No prior travel experience is explicitly required.
