CT Technologist
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Employment Type: Clinical-Allied
Shift: Days (Fri-Sat-Sun, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 (12-hour shifts)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Perform CT procedures and tests to acquire and analyze diagnostic data.
- Verify patient identification and document pregnancy status for patients of childbearing age.
- Obtain and manipulate CT images per protocols, including multi-planar and 3D reconstructions.
- Administer oral and IV contrast safely, following protocols and verifying lab values.
- Manage image transfer and quality control using PACS and related systems.
- Maintain accurate patient demographic and charge information.
- Review patient charts and reports for correlation.
- Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and document incidents for quality improvement.
- Precept new employees and students.
- Volunteer for challenging tasks, difficult procedures, and new research.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Registered Technologist (ARRT) certification
- Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
