Description

Registered Nurse - 5th Floor Inpatient

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 3rd shift (night)
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required
Unit Details:

31-bed inpatient nursing unit
Patient population includes adults recovering from Peripheral Vascular Surgery, Colorectal Surgeries, General Abdominal Surgeries, Urologic Surgeries, and Surgical Oncologic Interventions
Float as needed

Job Description

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of adult patients in an inpatient environment
Demonstrates competency in nursing care delivery aligned with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Clinical competence in nursing care delivery

Additional Information

This is a backfill position
12-hour night shifts with every other weekend coverage
Ability to float to other units as needed
