- Days
- 7 hours per day
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
- No weekends or on-call required
Job Summary
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate care for assigned patients.
- Diagnose and treat human responses to actual and potential health problems through case finding, health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative care.
- Supervise care provided by LPNs, RNs on permit, nursing attendants, technicians, and supplemental staff.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, current plans of care addressing physical, psychosocial, spiritual, teaching, and discharge needs.
- Observe, evaluate, document, and communicate patient responses to illness and treatments.
- Coordinate nursing interventions consistent with medical regimens and multidisciplinary team priorities.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and development of nursing standards.
- Serve as a clinical resource and participate in staff orientation, meetings, committees, and educational programs.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Engage in continuing professional growth and education.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year
- Experience working with adult and pediatric patients
- Med-Surg nursing experience
- Oncology nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) is preferred but not required.

- No weekend shifts or return-to-office requirements.
- Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned.
