Description
Registered Nurse
Location: Peoria, Illinois
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Overview
Provide nursing care for assigned patients, including assessment, care planning, implementation of interventions, ongoing evaluation, documentation, and coordination with the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg experience
- Neurology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Med/surg and neurology experience
Key Responsibilities
- Complete initial patient assessments and develop care plans
- Implement nursing interventions and patient care procedures
- Update care plans based on patient response and ongoing evaluation
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation
- Support patient and staff safety by reporting or correcting hazards and incidents
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to peer development
