Job Description

Provide nursing care for primarily adult patients in an inpatient setting.
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
Role aligned with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.

Work Schedule

Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
36 hours per week
Every other weekend and every other holiday off
Option for every weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 7 PM – 7 AM
On-call required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Education

Required: Associate’s degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Skills and Experience

Clinical competence in care and management of critical care patient populations
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice appropriate for licensure as a Registered Nurse
