Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography

Location

• Jackson, Michigan

Job Summary

• Perform computerized tomographic (CT) radiological procedures under general supervision.
• May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
• Assist Radiologist with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies.
• Administer intravenous contrast media, monitor patients for reactions, and provide immediate care if needed.
• Operate and manually control CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients and procedure rooms, including sterile equipment setup.
• Follow radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Manage imaging data and documentation using PACS and Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Perform all required clinical and billing documentation.

Work Schedule

• Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM EST
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call duties
• Block scheduling available if it includes weekends
• 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), including advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent or Associate degree in Applied Science in Radiology; must maintain required continuing medical education hours
• Experience with intravenous contrast media administration
• Experience with sterile equipment setup
• Peripheral IV insertion experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
