RN - Ambulatory Clinic

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing - Travel)
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Description

• Provide therapeutic, patient- and family-centered care as part of an interprofessional team.
• Collect and assess patient health data to develop, execute, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Use evidence-based practice to guide clinical decisions for individual and population health.
• Coordinate care across settings with patients, families, and other care providers.
• Consider safety, effectiveness, and fiscal accountability in care planning and delivery.
• Delegate and supervise care in accordance with Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional development.
• Responsibilities include patient care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and assisting with minor in-clinic procedures.
• May float to other areas as needed for operational support.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 1 year of ambulatory care experience, with experience within the last year preferred
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Clinical experience in telephone triage
• Circulating experience
