Description
Registered Nurse - 3W Cardiac Progressive Care
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3rd shift (night)
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week (including weekends and float)
Job Description
- Provide nursing care for an identified group of primarily adult inpatients in a cardiac progressive care unit.
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
- Practice aligned with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or Cardiac Progressive Care within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Additional Information
- Must be knowledgeable in nursing theory and practice appropriate to the role.
- Experience with 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and float coverage.
