Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Registered Nurse, Direct Care
Shift: Travel and Trauma Required
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Provide nursing care to patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex under general supervision. Responsibilities include:
- Managing an assigned group of patients
- Documenting patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments
- Assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
- Monitoring physiological data and intervening as necessary
- Administering prescribed medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products
- Delivering competent patient care
- Communicating care plans and hospital procedures to patients and families
- Making referrals for patient care needs
- Delegating tasks to support staff
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma
- Experience in Emergency nursing (minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; assume standard for Emergency RN roles)
- Ability to work travel and trauma shifts
