Description
Registered Nurse - 3W Cardiac Progressive Care
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 3rd shift (night)
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Patient Population: Primarily adult inpatient cardiac progressive care
Job Description
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
- Demonstrates competency in delivery of care specific to cardiac progressive care patients.
- Role aligns with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within the last year.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Work Schedule & Additional Requirements
- 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend.
- Float as needed within the unit.

- Clinical experience in cardiac progressive care nursing required.
