Description
RN Medicine Specialty
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Job Summary
- Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
- Responsible for assigned patients, including documentation, medication administration, IV infusions and blood products, patient/family communication, and coordination with support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- 1 year of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with tracheostomy care
- Medical-surgical/stepdown experience
- ICU experience
- Med Surg experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program
