Description
Job Opportunity: RN - Medical/Surgical
Location: Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing - Travel)
Contract Length: 9 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for adult inpatients.
- Deliver care consistent with the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Schedule
- Shift: 2nd shift
- Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or a Multi-state Nursing License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
- Associate’s degree in nursing (minimum education requirement).
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice equivalent to at least two years of nursing education.
- Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Additional Information
- Care primarily for adult patient population in an inpatient setting.
