Job Description
- Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients during assigned shifts.
- Utilize nursing process, current nursing trends, technology, and resources to deliver care.
- Perform initial patient assessments upon admission and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement and modify nursing interventions and patient care procedures based on ongoing evaluation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing hazards and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Engage in professional development by identifying learning needs and pursuing solutions.
- Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Neurology experience with 3 years of experience
- Neurology experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours/week)
