Description
Registered Nurse - Trauma/ACS Progressive Care
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 1st shift
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Schedule: Weekend coverage required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday); option for day/night rotation with every other weekend; float as needed
Job Description
- Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for primarily adult inpatients.
- Deliver care consistent with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
- Manage patients in a Trauma/ACS Progressive Care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with at least some experience within the last year.
- Clinical competence in trauma patient care.
- Experience with CADD pumps (epidural and nerve block pumps).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
