Description
Nurse Education Manager
Location
New York, New York
Schedule
- 4x10 or 5x8; must be flexible for both
- 7AM start
- 40 hours per week
Contract Length
- 14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Manager experience within the last year
- 1 year of manager experience
- Educator experience
- Critical Care experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- Med Surg experience
- Stepdown experience
- ACLS
- BLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s in Nursing Education
- Professional board certification in the clinical specialty
Role Summary
- Leads nursing practice and supports patient experience through nursing education, staff development, care checks, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Serves as a role model and preceptor for new staff and students
- Oversees nursing education budget and educational record-keeping systems
- Participates in meetings and research activities related to education, healthcare management, and clinical practice
Additional Notes
- ONS Chemotherapy Administration Certification is required if assigned to oncology
