Description
Registered Nurse — Emergency Department
Location
- Urbana, Illinois
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Night shift
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule period
- 2-week nights rotation required for all travelers
- No block scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC
- BSN
- Trauma level 2 or higher experience
Role Overview
- Provides nursing care for emergency department patients
- Completes patient assessments and develops care plans
- Implements and updates nursing interventions based on ongoing evaluation
- Maintains accurate nursing documentation
- Collaborates with providers, patients, families, and staff
- Supports patient and staff safety and professional development
