Job Overview
Staff Registered Nurse role providing direct patient care, assessments, care planning, documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary team members. This is a float pool position with assignments across various inpatient units.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Float experience within the last year
- 1 year of float experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Trauma 1 experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Education
- BSN
Key Responsibilities
- Complete patient assessments and develop plans of care
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient care procedures
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation
- Support patient and employee safety by reporting or correcting hazards and incidents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Precept staff from various units as needed
- Float to various inpatient units, including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs when applicable
