RN Opt A - CFH CIA

Location

Urbana, Illinois

Contract Length

13 weeks

Shift

Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours

36 hours per week, 12 hours per day

Job Overview

Staff Registered Nurse role providing direct patient care, assessments, care planning, documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary team members. This is a float pool position with assignments across various inpatient units.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Illinois
  • Float experience within the last year
  • 1 year of float experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Trauma 1 experience
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Education

  • BSN

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete patient assessments and develop plans of care
  • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient care procedures
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation
  • Support patient and employee safety by reporting or correcting hazards and incidents
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
  • Precept staff from various units as needed
  • Float to various inpatient units, including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs when applicable

  • EPIC experience
