Location

• Edmond, Oklahoma

Contract

• 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts

Job Summary

• Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex.
• Assigned to a group of patients and responsible for documenting responses to interventions, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, and coordinating care with patients, families, and staff.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Skills

• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Some computer skills
