CT Technologist
Location
Urbana, Illinois
Contract

Shift
Day, 12 hours
Hours
36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois
- CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (R) or ARRT (CT)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate's degree in a related field or certificate in radiologic technology
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures and assigned invasive procedures
- Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast when appropriate
- Review labs and patient history to ensure the correct exam
- Recognize and respond to adverse or allergic reactions
- Screen for pregnancy and perform pregnancy testing if applicable
- Ensure patient, visitor, and environmental safety
- Assist with instruction of students and new staff
- Support productivity by helping other areas during downtime
- May cover CT Lead or Imaging Coordinator duties in their absence
- May perform duties in other modalities if licensed to do so
