Registered Nurse — Radiology
Overview
- Contract role in New York, New York
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- 3x12 schedule
- Hours per week: 37.5
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Radiology (2 years of experience)
- Radiology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of ambulatory and radiation safety experience
- Cardiac CT experience
- IV skills
- Radiation safety
Preferred
- Cardiac experience
- EPIC experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
- Assess patient needs and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and caregivers on care plans and transitions of care
- Support patient experience through rounding, communication, and service recovery
- Contribute to quality, safety, documentation, and process improvement
- Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
- Help manage supplies, staffing resources, and patient throughput
