Registered Nurse — Radiology

Overview

Contract role in New York, New York
13-week assignment
Day shift: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
3x12 schedule
Hours per week: 37.5

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Radiology (2 years of experience)
Radiology experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of ambulatory and radiation safety experience
Cardiac CT experience
IV skills
Radiation safety

Preferred

Cardiac experience
EPIC experience

Key Responsibilities

Provide patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
Assess patient needs and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
Educate patients and caregivers on care plans and transitions of care
Support patient experience through rounding, communication, and service recovery
Contribute to quality, safety, documentation, and process improvement
Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
Help manage supplies, staffing resources, and patient throughput
