Description
RN - Telemetry
Location
- Jeffersonville, Indiana
Schedule
- Night shift
- 12 hours per day
- 36 hours per week
- Shift time: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
- Every other weekend
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Supervises licensed and non-licensed staff
- Provides patient and family education, mentoring/precepting, and supports quality improvement and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- 2 years of telemetry experience
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience with Epic
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and reassessments
- Initiate, prioritize, implement, and revise the plan of care
- Monitor and document response to clinical interventions
- Coordinate and provide patient/family education
- Delegate tasks and support teamwork and process improvement
